Obese kids have chance to get heartdisease in teens


New study has been found that the children overweight shows risks of heart disease when they are teens. These risks included high blood pressure, unhealthy cholesterol levels and elevations in blood sugar and insulin, a blood-sugar-regulating hormone.
All these symptoms shows a longterm risk of type-2 diabetes in the future.
The findings, published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, add to evidence of the serious health consequences of childhood obesity. BMI(Body,mass index),relation between weight and height is connected to future risk of heartattack.
172 children were surveyed at age of 7 and again at the age of 15. Ten percent had three or more risk factors.
The consequences of childhood obesity are devastating.
